EXPEDITION: ZAMBIA

Africa is the most amazing place on Earth. Zambia is located in the center of Southern Africa and is a place of incredible beauty, and astounding need. 2,500 lions still roam Zambia and Victoria Falls (that at over a mile wide is the largest waterfall on the planet and is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World). In the midst of incredible wonders, the rural children of Zambia are some of the most needy in the world.

Our partners at Operation iDream have created a school, health clinic, and library in the challenging African bush, providing daily education and meals to over 400 children.

In 2023, uReach launched Hope Village Zambia, a collaborative project with iDream, to offer a safe haven for girls at risk of forced child marriage. This complex issue has many underlying causes, but Hope Village ensures that these girls can continue their education in a secure environment.

This beautiful land and these beautiful people are both amazing. In the midst of overwhelming poverty, the rich culture and resilient people will amaze you.
