Camp Hope Expansion: A Legacy of Impact

In 2015, we committed to building in the San Quintín Valley with a clear purpose: to reach young people before they became trapped in an almost irreversible cycle of poverty. From that commitment, the vision for The Hope Center was born—a place designed to change lives. The Hope Center would serve as a hub for transformation, offering shared facilities for staff, housing for volunteer teams, a venue for community outreach, and a youth camp to inspire and equip teenagers.

In 2020, construction began and we are excited that, as of 2025, Phase 1 is COMPLETE!

Since we began phase one of the Hope Center:

Hosted more than 450 campers
Hosted outreaches and conferences for more than 8,000 people
We have hosted more than 2,000 volunteers
Served more than 35,000 meals

Now our vision has expanded even more. We will simultaneously complete a world-class youth camp facility, youth center and family outreach park that creates sustainability for camp scholarships.

Now, We Must Grow

To meet the demand and expand year-round outreach, we need to acquire 5 additional acres directly north of Camp Hope.

Our 2026 goal is to accomodate 300 campers and build out the finest camp program in Mexico. Our expansion plans are ambitious.

How you’ll help end generational poverty in teens:

When the average Oaxacan teenager drops out of school at 14 and begins a family by 17, the cycle of poverty is difficult to overcome. Your giving helps fund and support Camp Hope, a safe and empowering space for youth in the San Quintín Valley, working to end this cycle.

Through the camp, teens will gain access to:

Life skills training that prepares them for independence

Trade education that opens doors to employment

Faith-building activities that nurture hope and resilience

Fun and friendship that remind them they’re not alone
